Welcome to Heath Hayes Academy!

I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and inclusive school community. At Heath Hayes Academy, we believe that every child deserves a rich and supportive learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Guided by our core values of being Open, Kind, Brave, and Believe, we create a culture where children feel empowered to explore their full potential.

Our Vision

At Heath Hayes, we aim to create a caring, supportive environment where all children feel safe, valued, and connected. We provide consistent support for children facing emotional, relational, and communication challenges, respecting their rights regardless of race, gender, religion, or ability. Our focus on spiritual, moral, emotional, and psychological well-being ensures that children can seek help and express themselves freely. Through positive reinforcement, we acknowledge effort, achievement, and good choices, fostering respect, motivation, and a growth mindset. We believe that all behavior communicates needs, and we strive to support every child in managing their emotions thoughtfully and constructively.

Our vision is to empower every child to become a confident, compassionate, and resilient individual who is ready to face the future. By embracing a culture of openness, kindness, bravery, and belief, we aim to foster lifelong learners who are not only academically capable but also equipped with the character and values to lead fulfilling, purposeful lives.

We are committed to fostering a space where openness encourages curiosity, kindness builds strong, respectful relationships, and bravery inspires our students to tackle new challenges with confidence. Most importantly, we nurture a strong belief in each child’s ability to succeed and make a positive difference in the world.

As part of REAch2 Multi Academy Trust, Heath Hayes Academy benefits from being part of a wider family of 62 schools, all working towards the shared goal of ‘always aiming higher’ for children. Collaboration and innovation across the trust enables us to draw upon a wealth of expertise and resources, ensuring that we provide the very best for our pupils. By working together, we are able to create innovative and effective approaches to teaching and learning, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Together with our dedicated staff and supportive families, we strive to provide an enriching educational journey where every child is valued, encouraged, and inspired. We look forward to working with you to make your child’s experience at Heath Hayes Academy truly remarkable.

I believe our school is very special and would welcome you to come and meet us!

Lovely smiles following a lovely tournament!☺️⚽️Over the past three weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming students from our Partner Primary Schools to Kingsmead for a football tournament as part of the Chasing the Future partnership.Students from Heath Hayes Academy, Hazel Slade Academy, Five Ways Primary, Poppyfield Academy, and St Peter's Primary took part in competitive matches, showcasing fantastic teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill. While Five Ways Primary topped the league table, the real winner was the incredible community spirit that emerged among all the players. Before the final game, we invited all teams to come together for a group photo. At first, the players were puzzled—why a photo of everyone together? But it soon made sense when we explained that very soon, they’ll all be Kingsmead students, playing football together at secondary school.Thank you to everyone who came along — we've thoroughly enjoyed hosting this tournament and welcoming students, teachers, volunteer coaches, and families into our school. A special thank you also goes to Hednesford Town Council for their generous summer donation, which helped make this event possible. We’re already looking forward to the next tournament in the new year!
