Welcome!

Welcome to the website for Heath Hayes Academy! This website is designed to give you a flavour of life at our school and a clearer understanding of what we do and how we do it.

We are a one form entry primary school based in Cannock that welcomes children from Reception to Year 6 and we firmly believe that we are on an ever learning journey, The Hero’s Journey!

We are very fortunate to have Cannock Chase right on our doorstep, a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our aim, as a school, is to inspire and enable each child to achieve their full potential. Promoting well-being is of high importance to us to create a happy, safe school environment.

Our Hero’s Adventure Curriculum enriches the learning of children through a range of exciting experiences which promote curiosity and a love of learning.  Parents have extremely high confidence in the work of the school and are supportive of all that staff do to help their children thrive.

Year 4 split into groups and did some sound surveys this afternoon to assess how loud certain areas of the school were. We then started to make our own beats considering which instruments made higher or lower sounds, and thought about how we could speed up or slow down the beat. 🥁🌟
